What Kind Of Paper Should I Use?

• Thermal: 2-1/4" x 1-1/4" is the optimal size for most product labels although some sellers use other sizes depending on their needs. Use only high quality brand name thermal paper as this will be the main determinate of the print quality.
• Laser: 2-1/4" x 1-1/4" and 21 labels per sheet is the optimal size, although other sizes can be used depending on your needs. Once again the quality of the paper matters a lot. High quality paper will not smudge and will have better adhesive.

How Should I Design My Labels?

• Barcode should fill at least 80% of the label. All labels should have the same layout regardless of the product to maintain consistency across products. When possible they should also be placed in roughly the same spot for easy reference across your catalog.
• Invest in design software. Good software can be expensive, but can help your brand look professional.
